Bone Grafting/Regeneration
The removal of harmful bacteria and the regeneration of bone and tissue help to reduce the depth of infected pockets and repair existing damage. The infected gum tissue will essentially be trimmed away and uneven bone tissue will be recontoured. Once the damaged tissue has been removed, healthy gum and bone tissue will be regenerated.
Regeneration is accomplished with grafting donor bone and or biologic materials into deeper defects.
